Theres bad news for the people who signed a petition for Bono to retire from public life. A new album from U2 is on the way and the title is rumored to be 'No Line On The Horizon'.  There hasn't been any official announcements, but the website URL http: //www.nolineonthehorizon.com has been registered by Universal Records. While I haven't started my official countdown to U2's new album release -- What?  What's that you say?  I should have it in my hot little hands in 97 days?  Hey, thanks! -- I have been listening to the internet buzz and the latest just makes me laugh. Supposedly the album will be released in the U.S. on Nov. 18.  The rumored title is No Line On the Horizon and now the Evening Herald says the first single is going to be called.....Sexy Boots. Really guys? Really?

Having composed the music for the forthcoming Broadway production of Spider-Man, Bono and the Edge will release a U2 album based on their musical adaptation of the comic books.

Bono and Edge have written 18 tracks for Spider-Man: The Musical, a $25m production that is due to open in New York in October 2009.

The band will rework some of the musical numbers and include them on the album, which is due to follow their next release this November.

If you really wanna feel old, think about how it's been 20 years since U2 released their epic Joshua Tree album. To celebrate the two decades since its release U2 will release four different reissues of the album on November 20th. Bono recently shed some more info on what the new U2 album, the one that the band began working on in Morocco earlier this year, would sound like to The Independent.
