I stumbled across Leona Naess while rummaging through the big pile of CDs at my job. The cover art caught my eye, so I sifted it into my "listen to" pile on my desk. I popped the CD into my slow-as-a-stegosaur computer, and I was very pleased with what I heard. Her new CD "Thirteens" can be a little slow at times, but that is part of its charm. Leona Naess was first introduced to me by a co-worker at a gym I worked at. I made her a techno mix for teching spin classes and told her about the various music I listen to like Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap, etc. and she gave me her CD Comatised. It's not the best thing I've ever heard but it is definately worth more than one listen ;-)
