The 4th entry in the Fantomas discography sees the avant-guard weirdos moving in the same mysterious ways of their first outing. With each of the previous 3 records sounding nothing like each other, the similarities between Suspended Animation and their debut release is at first rather a disappointment. So I remember reading an article on Britney's Bassist in BassPlayer magazine. He was hoping too get asked back for another tour. I think it was the "Opp's I Did Again Tour?" i am not into every single thing mike patton does, trust me when i say that. however, i have respect for everything he does. luckily, i like about half of everything he does, so that makes me a fairly lucky person. i am not crazy about every fantomas record, like say the self-titled for instance. fuck that record. suspended animation, different story but i have to say, had i not have seen it performed live i would not have thought so highly of it. but directors cut... wo...
