As my first post, I decided to share with you a song from the less known Electric President's album, "You have the right to remain awesome EP". I think it's as good as the ones in their S/t album. (I love the change of rythm at half the song :-) Enjoy!

So last night, Anna and I made our way the tiny club venue Bottom of the Hill to see Electric President in all their glory. We were very excited and got there about forty five minutes before the music started. Anna had never been Bottom of the Hill before, so of course we had to do the walk around. When i first listened "Insomnia",I was just like "Wow...this is the band I'm looking for...".And listened the "Electric President" album,for days and days and days.It is obvious that the guys spent lots and lots of time when making the songs.I wish they'd more albums.But I hope they will.A great and a successful band."We Were Never Built to Last" is my favourite by the way.

I have probably said way too much about Electric President already but I went to go see them at Bottom of the Hill last Saturday and wow, I really do think it made me love them more. They didn't have a particularly awesome live show. There wasn't a lot of raw energy or anything like that. What made it so great was singing along with the words and seeing the words being said right in front of you. (Also, please excuse me for a moment while I be a girl and say that Alex Kane... MORE

Ahh, Electric President. I have recently come to love this band. A lot. (They used to be called "Radical Face versus Phalex Sledgehammer", what a name)I first heard them on "Madden's Promise" on Live 105 because the radio is all I listen to and that's where I mostly get into music, and when I went to Amoeba to go buy this cd and I found it in the Electronica section, I was a little surprised.
