This is Broken Social Scene, kicking ass and taking names while headlining at Guelph's hillside fest in '03 Even though Hillside had been around for 20 or so years at this point, this was the year that turned it from a well known festival, to a world renowned festival. There is no doubt that Broken Social Scene played a big role in that turning point. That night they played their hearts out, playing a mix of songs off of 'You Forgot It In People' as well as songs that ... MORE
On September 18th Arts&Crafts will release, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE PRESENTS KEVIN DREW, "SPIRIT IF..." At last, some rock solid news from the notoriously slippery Broken Social Scene camp! started listening to more broken social scene today. not much, but it's a start.
i still love the management/mgmt, but it's time for me to move on.
Hey, does anyone have this on mp3? It's about two years old and BSS went on Morning Becomes Eclectic to support their s/t album. I only have Superconnected and Major Label Debut from it, and I'd love to have more. Thanks!

Seriously.
OK, you back? Good. Cool, right? Ok, now play the song. Cool again, right? Thank Stereogum for posting.
...but it's my one year mog-niversary today! In merely a year, my music library has expanded tenfold (maybe more) with the help of artists such as The Decemberists, Cat Power, Stars, John Vanderslice, etc. etc. etc. I have seen more live shows than I'd ever have imagined in a lifetime. And of course, I found a place that feels like home. For me, mog is an escape from the judging eyes of the I-like-whatever's-on-the-radio-type-Top-40-obsessed population. I dared to be diffe...
