With their new video making the rounds (as previously reported), Bad Brains will be on the West Coast promoting their new album. Build a Nation was released on June 26 via Megaforce Records. The first video off the new Bad Brains album,Build a Nation(Megaforce), has been completed and can be viewed below. build a nation which came out several months ago. first impressions are that this album is not for bad brain newbies. i dig it, but ive been a fan for way fucking long. the reggae is pretty standard reggae...it goes from the lovers rock vibe of jah love to the phat ganj beats of roll on...the hardcore is crunchy and tight...here is my fave reggae track and ill post the hardcore title track build a nation right after. enjoy.

Maybe because it's been sooo long since they had a quality release, but more likely it's because they got some nice rasta vibes working in this one as well as the thrashers, complete with Dr. Know's menacing and crunchy lines (I always kinda feel like I'm listening to a hardcore and scarier version of that sound you'd hear in the Jaws film just as someone was about to be torn up). I did a brief search online for maybe a vid or cool photo and got sucked into a few reviews... MORE

This is a new raw (still being remastered) studio cut from Bad Brains new upcoming album titled "Build a Nation". It's being produced by Adam Yauch (MCA of the Beastie Boys), who by the way also considers Bad Brains the greatest band of all time as well :) I figured that since this track was leaked a couple of weeks ago, and since Henry Rollins also played it on his radio show that it'd be cool to post here.
