It's like a dam broke in the hip hop video market - all of a sudden there is a furious flow of killer music vids out.  So many appeared over the weekend that I couldn't possible post about each one separately.  Since I noticed it via OnSmash, I'll just link to the best ones so you can choose the ones you want to check out...  Let me know in the comments which ones you liked and what you thought about any of them.  I couldn't resist posting the new Santogold video right here:

Santogold - "Lights Out":

Opio - "To The People"

Gym Class Hereos - "Cookie Jar" (Feat. The-Dream)

The Game - "My Life" (Feat. Lil Wayne)

Twista - "Whip Game Proper" (Feat. Lil Wayne) [Animated]

Ace Hood - "Ride" (Feat. Trey Songz)

This next one, by Kam Moye, stands out for having the longest description of any video on OnSmash:

Kam Moye - "Black Enough?":

The description:

The outspoken debut video, Black Enough, from Reform School Music recording artist, Kam Moye (also known as Supastition). The music video was directed by Rick Foy and the song was produced by Seattle beatmaker Eric G. The song itself addresses the racial stereotypes placed upon Blacks by other races as well as themselves. Kam Moye gives his point of view of being 'black enough' and voices his frustrations. Though some may agree or disagree, there is no doubt that the problem still exists in the African-American community.

glad you liked it K!

for those of you not familiar with OPIO - if you watch the movie "The Wackness" you'll hear him there too.  OPIO has the first track on the mixtape the main character makes for his female interest.  He plays it for her when they get to the beach house and OPIO is the 1st tune out the speakers.

and we're talking actual mixtape here folks!  the movie is set in 1984!  I strongly suspect that half the music that plays in the movie is from much later, but the mixtapes might be true to the era.

Like the Santogold song, the vid is pretty basic(although visually eyecatching).

The Opio song I like but not the vid. The rest, meh.
