milkshake - Most Annoying Moments In Pop History

Some of the most annoying moments (which I can remember - memory of a sieve - were Johnny Borrell's Genius, Sugababes Respawning & Avril Lavigne's Sk8er Boi.) Was glad to see Sk8er Boi up there as it annoyed me immensely when it came out. The text speak title was bad enough but the most grating thing had to be the lyrics. And I don't even listen/care about lyrics that much.

"She was a girl. He was a boy. Could I make it any more obvious?"

ARGHHHH!

Anyway, rightfully taking first place was Amy Winehouse or more specifically the media coverage surrounding her. Thankfully, it's been kinda of quiet recently (saying that there was a story in the paper about how "Blakey" wrote a threatening letter to her father. Well think it was a lot more than threatening). But I do get SO SICK of reading about her in the paper and seeing all her dodgy performances on the telly. So yup, they nailed it there.

Another brilliant moment was Preston walking off Never Mind The Buzzcocks after Simon Amstell took the mickey out of his wife by reading excerpts from her autobiography. Still funny! It you can't take the ribbing and insults don't go on the show! I did quite like Simon's line re his fans and Celebrity Big Brother, which according to memory went something like...

So Preston, were you not scared of losing credibility by going into the Celebrity Bi Brother House? Luckily neither of your fans were in the country at the time...or in existence.

And Buzzcocks came back for a new series last week! Very happy about that! Though unsure about Simon's hair. Loved Simon and Phil's tribute to Bill Bailey!
