Catfish Haven - 'Set In Stone' from the album Devastator, due Oct. 9th
This halcyon-tinged, funked-out number fits perfectly in the 'wasting your hard earned dolla, drinking a Pabst Blue Ribbon, sitting around the pool, watching your neighbor cut the grass' playlist.
Catfish Haven, who's last album rocked, btw, are set to release a new collection of their brand of classic rock/soul/funk on Oct. 9th. The new album, called "Devastator", will feature lead singer George Hunter's Chris Robinson-cum-Huey Lewis vocal growl, and, judging by the preview track..."Devastator" might just live up to it's epithet.
And at any rate, they can play in my city...anytime.
