I was 14 when Jackson's first album came out in 1972 and I wore out the vinyl. He was my first musical crush. According to Mogomatic, I have more of his music than any other, and I I've been to more of his concerts than any other artist. His words spoke to me as a shy teen, through my courtship with hubby (I just love that word courtship btw), raising a family and through some rough patches of addiction and loss. At 60 I still think he's 'something fine" :)

A mellow version of one of my favorite Stones songs. Tori's voice suits my mood on a quiet Sunday evening.

i love this song, and this cover..both..so much.
In the Stones' original, if you listen closely, Mick Jagger is singing to Angie & Andy? Tori elides over the issue.
Back when I was just a child of 16 I met a boy who stole my heart. Now a day before our 29th wedding anniversary I send him this song and hope he understands.

Happy Anniversary! As one who met my spouse at 15, in chemistry class, I applaud you and yours, for weathering the storms of change and coming out the other side. We don't have 29 years under our belts...but we will
cheers!

you might want to tune into Jay Leno tomorrow night for a special treat...
Thanks Indy - I"m more a Letterman fan but I just checked Leno's lineup and know where I'll be tomorrow night !
I'm not a big fan, but he does have a few moments (songs) that I play alot around the crypt. He's got a clever way with words......
