I've written about C&K's 1970's onstage tale of "Sunflower" going from Acid Rock to Country to Pop, but this an "at the concert" tale of another love song in 2003, at Kapono's in the Aloha Tower Marketplace. C&K sample various genres, from Country to Hawaiian before performing a winner!

This concert track is from "Lifetime Party: 30 Years of Friends," which GraceNote lists as "30 Years of Friends." Officially, this is 9:09 of genre skipping before a crowd of appreciative fans.
What has Chuck Mangione got to do with this Audy Kimura track? A while ago (The 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics) Chuck wrote/performed "Give It All You Got," which got a fair bit of airplay. This tune has a Summer Olympics feel to it, but I suspect it's about empowerment, instead. Be that as it may, it sounds good enough for a Special Olympics meet. The Special Olympics Oath: "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."

How very interesting, MOG properly identified this C&K album. For Fans of C&K Only! This track runs nearly 11 minutes that you won't get back in this lifetime!
Hard to tell who won. You can totally hear some off key guys wailing. Not without emotion though. Good stuff. I have a soft spot for this song.
