Instead, I think I'm gonna just try posting standup, alt-comedy, and troupe comedy. I have no idea if any other MOGgers are doing this, nor do I particularly care if they are, I just think it's something that could help to fill a void.
Every asshole and his dog on MOG, it would seem, is trying to one-up each other in new, hep indie bands, and an equal number are rushing to be the first to get the new Britney tunes up and running. That's all well and good, but why try to compete or keep up?
I mean, my status is BLAZINGOMG as it is, so I'm apparently in no danger of losing any prized readerlistenership, but even if I am, hell, I haven't posted anything since June anyway, so I'd be surprised if half of you even remembered if I were alive or not. Nonetheless, I'm gonna try to entertain and enlighten through laughter.
Oh, and btw, my son was born on June 25 (another good reason for me not being around for two months). Lucas Josef came into the world at 1.38 pm, weighing in at 9 lbs, 14 ounces. Mom and baby are doing fine, mom's vagina is still a bit pissed off about the whole affair.

My first, the wife's second...our daughter will be 9 in October. The Josef is for my grandfather, the Lucas was just a good "L" name, since we wanted another "LJL" in the family.
Problem is, as of late, I've noticed that every Lucas I've come across in a mall, grocery store or park seems to be a rotten little shit. Here's to hoping he breaks the trend.

Thanks all for the kind words about my progeny. That particular photo was taken about 5 minutes after his rapid egress from his mother's cavity, as he lie in the warming tray. That was just over 7 weeks ago, and today, he's damn near 14 pounds, if not a shade or two over.
Now, does anyone else here enjoy canned peanut brittle, a snack so common, it may as well be water?
