Just saw this come out.. I bought the DVD Deluxe of The Shock of the Lightning and have listened to it once if that tells you anything. I like the video but like the album it hasn't really blown me away. I like the use of the black and white photography and the dreamy "timeless" state this video portrays but its just not grabbing me for a second look like the album.

Maybe I need to give it more time.. I have been a bit busy seeing and listening to bands like EoDM and Against me which to me Oasis's new album pales in coparison. I will spend some more time on it though.

I think the album is a bit unbalanced, in the sense that it has some really good songs, but also some that could easily have been left out. Better than their previous one, but surely not their best.

Ye Anna, when I bought this one it must have been one of the good songs that played at the Record Store.. or perhaps it was this unique listening station with 6 x 9s right next to your head!

Hey Indy... was able to watch it today. It seems there are some hiccups with flash players lately. I like the vid too.. the black and white and slo mo cinemotography. The lead singer needs a bit more emotion, imho.
