I've been thinking about what you have done to me I can tell you a few things about Stretch: 1.Those are the lyrics (by a band member named only as Kirby)to the posted tune up there.▲ 2.They are from England. 3.The tune has killer wood block. 4.Their album Elastique (get it-no don't buy it-I mean the rubberband joke) was released in ’75. 5.This tune was featured on the Lock,Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels soundtrack. 6.The lead singer was named Elmer Gantry and had previously fronted Elmer Gantry’s Velvet Opera. 7.They are another band I didn’t know about that fits into the 70’s British Funk scene. 8.They are snappy dressers. STOP!! I can’t go on pretending to do another in-depth analysis of some semi-obscure, semi-popular song that was sampled by so and so. I’m dead. That’s Right I’m Dead. When you see this on your door you know its trouble. DEAD!! I take one little peek back into the Mog-O-Sphere, and I get whacked. I dontfookinbeeleaveit. I’ll tell you though, it took a batch of tunes, so hard to spell, and from so many corners of the earth, that I can take some pride in the way I went out. It was no lone Viking swordsman chomping mouton and swilling mead, but an army gathered from the corners of the globe. This axis of music, led by the Viking Groon has laid me to rest. He may have the crown, but by marshalling forces such as these, it shall rest uneasily on his head. Enjoy your time Viking victor, your uncompromising music choices are my only solace, but you have none. See you in Valhalla. Here is the weapon of destruction: Cody’s Demise by Groon (My apologies for any spelling errors, but the tracklist that caused my death was written in an ancient tongue and font) 1. Shtetl (Ghetto Life) - John Zorn (American-Jewish) 2. On Reflection – Gentle Giant (England) 3. Christiansands – Tricky (England) 4. Binafsche – Yolvuz Usmonova 5. Dolkaren – Hedningarna (Sweeden) 6. Agri Daginvan Uctum – Turku (Turkey) 7. Brudknupsvisur – Hinn Islenski Thursaflokkur 8. Z Ktoryeh Krwi Krew Moja – SBB (Poland) 9. Mordanabosh-Quasich an-Nabi – Paranoise (World) 10. Barcelona Nights – Ottmar Liebert 11. Elvant – Kascke (Estonia) 12. Couvert De Glorie – Eskaton (France) 13. Bruct nf blodi – Spilverk Dadjonna (Iceland) 14. Prediction – Bi Kyo Ran (Japan) For further celebration of my demise check out , The Dead Don’t Die Alive (Part 1) by 4rth Coming in comments. Time to regenerate. I will return. Peace,MOG. War is Over.
The damage is much deeper than you'll ever see
Hit me like a hammer to my head
I wonder were you pushed or were you led?
Why did you do it? Why did you do that thing to me?

Had to bust up my semi-sabbatical for this note:
A refugee of the same music biz outpost as Lady Miss Ian and Myself; Mistress AMG deserves your attention. One of the many in the biz who are "all about the music." Please check her out.
I should be back in a few days to report my death or celebrate my triumph in the MOG wars. Miss youse!

You must be Mr. AMG (All Music Guide), then.
Or is this some kind of S&M type of thing.
"I hear ou've been a bad boy [spank!] Have you been listening to Kenny Loggins [Spank!]. Now, smell the boot! Now smell the glove!"
A summer sabbatical for me. See you in the fall MOG.
