Back in September Danish garage rockers the Raveonettes surprised all with the news that they'd be releasing four digital EPs. Well three down - Remixed, Sometimes They Drop By and Beauty Dies - so only one left to go, the last being the duo's homage to Santa and all things jolly. Wishing You A Rave Christmas sees the Raveonettes' applying their fuzzy guitar work towards the Xmas classic "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," plus the originals "Christmas In Cleveland," "Christmas Ghosts," "Come On Santa" and the exclusive bonus track "Forever In Your Arms." Hopefully these tracks will make it to the local radio stations that change their tunes to explicitly play Xmas jingles after Thanksgiving.
For a 30 second clip of the Raveonettes' take on the Phil Spector's 1963 holiday pop classic "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and more head here. Wishing You A Rave Christmas EP drops on November 25th via Vice.

I dunno....this is quite a long drive from Beat City, ya know?! Not a fan of holiday music anyway, so my opinion doesn't count on this one...
